Because of the nature of our business, which provides membership-based information services that are delivered digitally and may be instantly consumed, PracticeLight cannot offer refunds or chargebacks for payments that have already been made.  However, if you should ever decide to end your membership early, PracticeLight will credit your account for any outstanding balance.  Please keep in mind that a $500 Early Termination Fee may apply if you choose to end your membership within the first six months and the reason for your early termination is unrelated to any failure in PracticeLight’s service delivery.  Why the fee?  As we’ve emphasized elsewhere in our Pre-Membership FAQ, performance management and benchmarking are not short-term propositions.  They will require some effort and commitment from you to produce real benefits for your clinic.  The Early Termination Fee is described more completely in our Membership Agreement.  Despite some internal debate, we’ve continued to keep it there for two purposes—first, to encourage a minimum time commitment from new Members and second, to allow us to recuperate some of the early setup costs we incur whenever we onboard a new practice.
